Ecotoxicity Study

Ecotoxicity study evaluates inherent toxicity of chemicals that can directly or indirectly make an acute or chronic effect on various types of underwater or terrestrial organisms when pesticide and toxic chemicals are exposed to environment. We operate Ecotoxicity GLP (good laboratory practice) and have signed an agreement with the top-level multinational test and research institution CiToxLAB as the exclusive Korean agent, providing world-class test results that satisfy the GLP criteria required by Rural Development Administration, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and OECD.

Fish Acute Toxicity Study

Toxicity of freshwater fish such as carp (Cyprinus carpio), ricefish (Orizias latipes), Muddy loach (Misgumus anguillicaudatus) is tested by exposing test material for 96 hours.

Water Flea Acute/ Reproduction Toxicity Study

Acute toxicity study evaluates swimming inhibition by exposing test material to water flea (Daphnia magna) for 48 hours. Reproduction toxicity exposes the test material for 21 days and observe the effect of it on reproductive ability.

Honeybee Acute Toxicity Study

Test material is exposed to honeybees (Apis mellifera) to evaluate tactile and oral toxicity.

Earthworm Acute/ Reproduction Toxicity Study

Earthworm (Eisenia fetida) or red earthworm (Lumbricus rubellus) is exposed to test material in artificial soil in order to evaluate toxicity and reproductive performance.

Algae Growth Inhibition Study

Toxicity is tested by exposing test material to freshwater algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata etc.) for 72 hours (96 hours, if necessary).

Avian Acute/ Reproduction Toxicity Study

Test material is exposed to quail (Colinus vinginanus) to evaluate oral, ingestion toxicity and effect on reproductive ability.
